Capitol View: Remembering Sen. Bill Lewellen

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – State lawmakers return to the Capitol next week and they have several issues to tackle when they return. This and more are the focus of this week’s Capitol View.

Capitol View host Roby Brock first met with Sen. Jonathan Dismang, chairman of the Joint Budget Committee, to discuss how the state plans to pay for schools, prisons, health care and tax cuts.

Then, Brock sat down with Sen. Reginald Murdock to talk about the life of Sen. Bill Lewellen. Lewellen was a major Arkansas political figure and was active in a number of political and legal fights, including civil rights, health and education.
