Little Rock police conducting homicide investigation Tuesday afternoon
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police in Little Rock are conducting a homicide investigation Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Little Rock Police Department, officers are in the 2100 block of Pine Street.
Police records show four activations from the city’s ShotSpotter system in the vicinity of this investigation around 3:35 p.m.
Detectives with the LRPD Homicide Division have started their investigation and are continuing to process the scene.
Authorities have not released any information on the identity of the victim in the case. There was also no word on if there were any other injuries connected to this incident.
The public is being advised that anyone traveling through this area should expect delays while the investigation continues.
This is the 28th homicide in 2023 for Little Rock.
