Beebe police close Walmart due to bomb threat, suspect in custody

BEEBE, Ark. – Police in Beebe are investigating a bomb threat made towards a Walmart on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Beebe Police Department, the Walmart in the city received a call around 12:13 p.m. making what appeared to be a bomb threat.
Beebe PD officials said the alleged caller is in custody pending further investigation.
Authorities said they don’t believe there is any danger to the community but, out of caution, are still searching the building with the help of North Little Rock Police Department bomb dogs.
