Pine Bluff police investigating Saturday Village Green Apartment homicide

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Pine Bluff police are investigating a Saturday evening shooting that left one person dead at an apartment complex.

According to investigators, officers were called to Village Green Apartments in response to reports of a shooting just before 10 p.m. on Saturday.

Offers said when they arrived, they discovered the body of 28-year-old Tamar’k Jack who was unresponsive inside one of the apartments with several gunshot wounds.

Jack was pronounced dead soon after by a representative of the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
