Three Arkansas employers ranked in TIME's 'Best Midsize Companies' list
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Three Arkansas-based employers are ranked in TIME Magazine's inaugural "Best Mid-Size Companies" list.
TIME and market research firm Statista looked at U.S.-based companies that made between $100 million and $10 billion in revenue in the previous full year to determine the top-performing.
The companies were scored on positive revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency.
ArcBest topped the list among employers based in Arkansas. The Fort Smith-based logistics company ranked #61 on the list.
The company was one of 28 in the "Transportation, Logistics & Aviation" category to be included in the rankings.
Dillard's was the second-highest-ranked Natural State-based company coming at 367th in the rankings. The department store chain has 285 locations in 32 states.
Arvest Bank, based in Lowell, came in a 438th in the rankings. The bank chain was ranked 32nd in employee satisfaction, according to TIME.
“Being recognized as a top-performing company based on these categories is an honor that underscores the impact of our collective efforts throughout the organization,” Arvest Chief People Officer Laura Andress said. “It’s a distinction that reflects our deep commitment to the success of our associates, customers and community.”
Workday, ServiceNow, Ally Financial, Ralph Lauren and Airbnb were the top five best midsize companies.
