Arkansas woman accused of sharing sexual images to social media without consent

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A Marianna, Arkansas, woman was taken into custody after police say she recorded an inappropriate video of someone and distributed it on the internet without permission.

The Marianna Police Department said the incident took place earlier this year. A felony warrant was previously issued for 20-year-old Tamia Davis regarding the unauthorized recording and distribution of a video to social media.

David was arrested on Sunday and charged with residential burglary, unlawful distribution of sexual images and cyberbullying. Her bond has not been set.

"Our department is committed to ensuring the privacy and safety of all individuals in our community. The arrest of Tamia Davis demonstrates our resolve to hold those accountable who violate others' rights and privacy," Chief of Police Rodney Perry said. "We take these matters very seriously, and we will continue to work diligently to investigate and address these types of offenses."
