Alexander Police searching for man involved in Saturday night shooting, 2 injured
ALEXANDER, Ark. – Alexander police are searching for a man that they say is connected to a Saturday night shooting that left two people injured.
According to a social media post by Alexander Fire & Rescue, gunshots were heard near one of the fire stations and then they were firefighters were dispatched to a home on Shirley Drive in response to that shooting.
They said fire crews found two gunshot victims who were transported to a nearby hospital. The conditions of the victims are not known at this time.
Alexander police also shared a social media post saying they are looking for a man who is described as 5 foot 7 inches tall, with a thin build and tattoos on both arms. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket and dark jeans.
He is also considered to be armed and dangerous. The public has been asked to not make contact with him and if seen to contact 911 immediately.
