LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Despite the still-falling snow on Friday morning, Clinton National Airport in Little Rock remains open.
Airport spokesperson Shane Carter said airlines are facing challenges with deicing aircraft. As of 10:15 a.m. Friday, no flights had departed, Carter said, and 36 flights for the day had been cancelled.
Carter reminds that the airlines, not the airport, determine if flights operate. Travelers are encouraged to check the airline’s website or app for the most recent flight information.
Carter adds that road conditions may be hazardous and to use extreme caution if driving to the airport.
