LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Central Arkansans will be seeing a delay in recycling and trash pickups due to this week’s arctic weather impacting roads.

Waste Management announced they will be delaying services on Tuesday due to a wave of winter weather slamming the state.

Waste Management officials said delays will impact residential curbside recycling customers in Little Rock, trash and recycling for residents in the Pulaski County unincorporated area and trash services in Pine Bluff & White Hall.

“The safety of our employees and customers remains paramount to Waste Management," WM public sector manager Jamie Vernon said. "We will continue to provide the public updates on our service schedule daily, and we appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.”

Waste Management will provide more updates as road conditions are assessed, officials said.
