STORRS, Conn. – The Arkansas State women’s basketball team fell to UConn Saturday afternoon in their first ever trip to the NCAA tournament.
After starting out on a 34-5 run to start the first quarter, the Huskies won the game 103-34 to move on to the second round of the tournament.

Arkansas State punched their ticket to their first NCAA tournament after beating James Madison in the finals of the Sun Belt Conference tournament.
This season, the Red Wolves amassed a record of 21-10, their highest win total since the 2015-2016 season.
