Missing Virginia 18-year-old last seen in central Arkansas

WHITE COUNTY, Ark. – An 18-year-old missing from Virginia was last seen in central Arkansas, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
According to NCMEC officials, 18-year-old Malik Barekzi was last seen in El Paso, Arkansas. Barekzi was reported missing from Norfolk, Virginia, on March 30.
Virginia State Police said Barekzi may be traveling in a 2006 gray Toyota 4Runner with Virginia license plate TVE-1156.
He is described as standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.
According to authorities, Barekzi’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety. NCMEC officials said he may be in need of medical assistance.
VSP ask anyone with information on Barekzi’s whereabouts to contact the Old Dominion University Police Department at 757-683-5665.
