HUNTSVILLE, Ark. – The National Weather Service has confirmed another tornado from a recent outbreak of storms in northwest Arkansas.
NWS officials confirmed that an EF-1 tornado touched down near Huntsville, Arkansas, in Madison County on May 19.
Officials said the tornado had estimated winds ranging from 100 miles per hour to 105 miles per hour. They added that it damaged numerous trees and destroyed an outbuilding.
This is the 47th tornado confirmed in Arkansas for 2025. There were 52 tornadoes confirmed in 2024.
