Yoga room named to honor Park Plaza shooting victim
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A memorial was held Saturday morning to honor a beloved yoga instructor.
Friends and family of Cyndi Gregory gathered at the 10 Fitness on Rodney Parham Road for the naming of the yoga room in her honor.
Cyndi passed away in January after being shot outside Park Plaza Mall, leaving behind a loving family, many friends and yoga students.
A plaque is now displayed in the 10 Fitness room in Cyndi’s memory.
"We're at 10 Fitness for a lot of Cyndi's yoga friends and students to get a plaque for her, and what she's done throughout the years that she worked here; it means the world," Joe Gregory, Cyndi’s husband, said.
In addition to being a wife, mother and yoga instructor, Cyndi was also an executive at Baptist Health Foundation.
The person that police believe is responsible for her death is currently awaiting trial.
