HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – A March fire at the Hot Springs Bleu Monkey Grill has led to an indefinite closure.
The restaurant shared on Facebook that reconstruction could take up to a year or more.
The business cited insurance delays and slow contracting progress as reasons for the closure. The demolition process has not yet started, according to the latest updates.
According to a spokesperson, the fire happened on March 14, and contractors now estimate a 10 to 12 month timeline for rebuilding once demolition begins.
The restaurant also acknowledged the support of the Hot Springs community over its 15 years of operation, and asked customers to visit their Little Rock location during the closure.
