Colonial Steak House in Pine Bluff to close after 51 years

PINE BLUFF, Ark.— A long-established Pine Bluff restaurant is closing its doors after operating for 51 years.

According to a post on social media, Colonial Steak House on 8th Street will end operation on July 15.

“We have cried with families when God called their loved ones home. We have laughed at the jokes and pranks played out by regulars and we will cherish every memory made,” The post stated. “But all things have a beginning and an end. Unfortunately, time has come to permanently close Colonial Steakhouse.”

“We hope to see you over the next week to personally say our thank yous and goodbyes,” the post continued. “We ask that you be patient with us as this will be a very emotional week and most likely a busy one. There will be things we run out of as the week goes by. We will continue to take reservations for tables of 5 or more if you need a larger table. Otherwise, it will be first come first served as usual for smaller tables.”
