North Little Rock police investigating after missing 70-year-old man found dead
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The discovery of a body by the side of the road has led to a death investigation by North Little Rock police.
Department officials said officers found a Black man lying in the bushes near the intersection of West Avalon and McArthur Drive. Officers checked and found the man was dead.
Investigators arrived on the scene and determined the dead man was 70-year-old Albert Lamb of North Little Rock.
Officials said Lamb was the subject of a Silver Alert by North Little Rock police on June 25. He had last been seen near Shuffield Drive near UAMS in the city.
Foul play is not suspected in the death, officials said, and the body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine what led to his death.
