Vehicle fire on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock slowing eastbound traffic

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A vehicle fire has broken out on Interstate 40 near North Little Rock on Monday.
According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, the fire, which is just west of Exit 157, was first reported at 2:51 p.m.
Fire crews could be seen putting out the vehicle fire around 3 p.m.
ARDOT’s iDrive map reports that the eastbound right lane and right shoulder are impacted as crews put out the blaze.
A crash report from ARDOT states that no injuries have been reported.
