Arkansas Storm Team Forecast: Showers & storms likely with our next cold front

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely for Thursday evening and Thursday night, ahead of our next cold front. Some of these thunderstorms could be strong to severe. Main hazards are damaging wind gusts and hail. Overnight, temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 60s with mostly cloudy skies and rain chances continuing into Friday.

Friday is a bit less hot with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms, especially in the morning and midday. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s with clouds sticking around. Rain chances should begin to subside by Friday evening.

This means that for Friday Night football games, and any other outdoor Friday plans, skies should clear just in time to kick off the weekend.
