Train cars derail in North Little Rock rail yard, no injuries, no hazardous materials involved

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Cleanup is underway after nine hopper cars derailed in the North Little Rock train yard Thursday afternoon.
According to a spokesperson for Union Pacific, no injuries were reported, and no hazardous materials were involved.
The spokesperson also said that the mainline track was not impacted.
The incident remains under investigation.
