Little Rock Zoo to provide free admission for tornado victims
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock Zoo is inviting families impacted by the tornado to spend time gathering and reconnecting in a safe location for free.
On April 8-9, Zoo officials announced victims impacted by the deadly tornadoes that swept through the state last week will receive free admission for parties of four.
According to a release from the Little Rock Zoo, community members can simply state at the Zoo’s front gate that they have been impacted and will granted entry.
“The Zoo family is proud to serve our larger community by providing a safe gathering place where families can relax and reconnect with one another after facing such a traumatic event,” Zoo Director Susan Altrui said.
The Little Rock Zoo will be open during normal operating hours this weekend, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
