Arkansas Symphony Orchestra presents “She’s Got Soul” at Robinson Center

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra has announced its third concert of the 2023-24 First Orion Pops season: “She’s Got Soul.”

She’s Got Soul debuts on Saturday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 10 at 3 p.m. and features the voice of actress/singer Capathia Jenkins.

The ASO will be performing songs by artists including Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Adele and more.

Jenkins also performed with the orchestra in 2022, as part of their “Tribute to the Queen of Soul: Aretha Franklin” concert and said that performing in the capital city made for a thrilling experience.

“Little Rock is one of those towns where the symphony gets the entire community involved which makes for a thrilling experience for guest artists,” Jenkins said. “I am so excited to come back, and this time bring my new show, “She’s Got Soul”, because I know the symphony will play it great and that audience will show up and show out! Looking forward to it.”

Tickets for She’s Got Soul start at $19 and can be purchased online at ArkansasSymphony.org or at Robinson Center’s street-level box office beginning 90 minutes before showtime or by phone at 501-666-1761, ext. 1.
