Arkansas Children's Hospital accepting book donations for National Reading Month
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - March is National Reading Month, and Arkansas Children's child life teams are hosting book readings throughout the month.
Arkansas Children's Hospital school leaders Kadi Lindsey and Katie Pizan joined Arkansas Today to talk about the importance of reading and how the community can help children at the hospital.
Books donated to the hospital will be used throughout the facility, benefitting children in the NICU, family resource center and the Hospital School Program. Lindsey mentioned that only brand new books are accepted for donation to help cut down on transmitting germs.
