Arkansas Storm Team Blog: Storm chances return Monday night

Our next chance for rain and storms arrives Monday night. The threat is on the lower side, but something to still be weather aware of. The greatest risk for severe weather will be in Northwest Arkansas, and into portions of Oklahoma and Missouri.

Severe risk map

A severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, and large hail will be possible. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out, however, the chance is greater across northwest Arkansas and into Oklahoma and Missouri.

Storm threats

Current timing shows storms moving in late Monday evening, after around 9 PM. Storms will continue to push eastward throughout the overnight hours.
