Six more charges brought against former Bryant Schools custodian accused of video voyeurism

BRYANT, Ark. – More charges have been brought against a former employee of the Bryant School District who is accused of video voyeurism.

Officials with the Bryant Police Department said former Bryant High School custodian Rene Cross is now facing six additional counts of video voyeurism after they said investigators found more victims following his February arrest.

The 33-year-old Cross was arrested in February by law enforcement after a student reported suspicious conduct relating to an incident they said happened in the bathroom of the high school.

Authorities claim Cross was using a cell phone to record video of a male student getting dressed in a bathroom in the high school’s field house sports facility.

Cross later bonded out of jail after his initial arrest.

On Wednesday, police said a warrant was issued for Cross for the additional charges and he was taken into custody later in the afternoon.
