Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders discusses end of Arkansas special legislative session

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is holding a news conference Wednesday to discuss the developments from the Arkansas special legislative session.

Sanders is expected to sign legislation during the event, including measures reducing income taxes, increasing a property tax credit and appropriating funding for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

The special session started Monday. In addition to the three pieces of legislation heading to the governor, lawmakers also passed resolutions recognizing a northwest Arkansas radio broadcaster and three high school sports teams, as well as one opposing a proposed abortion amendment.
