Police investigating deadly Saturday night shooting in south Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police are investigating after a man was found dead after a shooting in south Little Rock Saturday night.

Officials with the Little Rock Police Department said officers were called to the area of the 6600 block of Lancaster Road just after 9 p.m.

When they arrived, the officers said they found a man dead with gunshot wounds.

Detectives with the LRPD Homicide division responded to the scene to begin their investigation.

There was no information on the identity of the victim released by authorities. Investigators have also not released any information on a possible suspect.
