Arkansas woman arrested after two children test positive for THC
MARION COUNTY, Ark. — An Arkansas woman has been arrested after two children tested positive for THC.
According to a press release from the Marion County Sheriff's Office, Tamatha McPherson, 58, has been charged with two counts of introducing a controlled substance into the body of another and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
McPherson's arrest comes after an investigation that began in April 2024, when a caller to the Arkansas State Police Child Abuse Hotline claimed two juvenile victims had tested positive for THC after being kept at an in-home daycare McPherson owned, the release said.
McPherson is currently free on $15,000 bond.
