Russellville police investigating deadly Saturday evening shooting that leaves teen dead

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Police in Russellville are investigating after they said a teen died in a shooting Saturday night.
In a Facebook post by the Russellville Police Department, officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Ashwood in reference to a person suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers said that when they arrived, they found a 19-year-old with a gunshot wound that had died.
Police said that the shooting appears to be accidental, but the investigation is ongoing.
No information has been released regarding the victim’s name.
