Company bringing jobs, $14 million investment to Clinton

CLINTON, Ark. - A national company is moving into Clinton and bringing jobs and investment with it.

The Arkansas Department of Commerce announced Wednesday that Wild Pastures meat delivery service is expanding into Arkansas. The move is into a 138,000-square-foot space in Clinton that will create 20 new jobs over the next two years, officials said.

Wild Pastures provides grass-fed and pasture-raised meat to its customers via a regenerative delivery service. Officials from the Colorado-based company said the move was the result of an increase in demand for its products in the southeast market.

Van Buren County Judge Dale James said the firm is investing $14 million in its facility.

Wild Pastures is a Paleovalley Company. Paleovalley was founded in 2013 to provide natural healthy food, drinks and supplements, launching Wild Pastures in 2018.

“We are excited to be coming to Van Buren County and feel it is a fantastic area with great people for us to continue supporting this fast-growing business of ours,” Wild Pastures co-founder Chas Smith said.

“Clinton allows great opportunity with its workforce, excellent school and emergency services, and its own water and sewer system, Clinton Mayor Richard McCormac said. “We are glad to offer all we can to enable success for our new business friends.”

PaleoValley is currently hiring warehouse staff for its Clinton location. It is also hiring remote workers with details and applications at PaleoValley.com/Careers.
