Arkansas State Capitol to hold lighting ceremony and fireworks show
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas State Capitol is gearing up for its annual Christmas lighting ceremony and fireworks show next month.
The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 on the steps of the Capitol.
There will be performances by Miss Arkansas Camille Cathey and the Shuffles and Ballet II Dance Studio. Special guests will also make appearances, including Santa Claus and Miss Teen Arkansas Peyton Bolling.
KARK 4 Today co-anchor D.J. Williams will be the host of the event.
The public is also invited inside the Capitol to view the Christmas decorations, Santa’s workshop and the LEGO exhibit after the ceremony and fireworks show.
The event is free to the public.
