Bauxite man wins $10,000 Mega Millions lottery prize

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A man in Bauxite won a $10,000 Mega Millions prize.

Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials said Guy C. claimed his prize after winning in the Dec. 6 drawing. The player bought a Quick Pick ticket at Bauxite Food Mart.

ASL officials said Guy usually chooses his numbers but decided to let the computer generate his numbers for the drawing. Luckily, his ticket matched four out of five of the winning numbers and the Mega Ball number.

The winning numbers were 16, 21, 33, 39, and 45 and 24 as the Mega Ball.

“I couldn’t tell you how many I checked it” Guy told lottery officials. “I thought, ‘Am I awake?’”

Guy said he plans to pay bills with his winnings.

The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday night’s drawing is $42 million. The LOTTO jackpot now sits at $4.814 million for Saturday night’s drawing.
