Little Rock police make arrest in deadly Stagecoach Road stabbing

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a deadly Wednesday night stabbing.
Officials said 72-year-old John Parkman of Little Rock was arrested Thursday. Parkman is facing charges of first-degree murder, officials said.
LRPD officials said officers were dispatched on 8:24 p.m. Wednesday to the report of a subject down at 5805 Stagecoach Road. Arriving officers found a man with neck lacerations and began first aid until an ambulance arrived. The wounded man died at the local hospital, they said.
Police have not released any information about the victim. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 501-371-4660.
