Little Rock Zoo shares update on baby gorilla

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Zoo officials took to social media on Tuesday to give an update on a baby gorilla that was born just weeks ago.
Zoo officials say the baby, which has not yet been named, has been nursing and getting stronger every day.
They said the baby is now able to control its head very well and is always keeping an eye on the animal care team.
The post states that the mother, Adelina, is growing more confident going outside, but still is enjoying playing with her baby while inside – she has even been seen holding the baby up while laying on her back.
Zoo officials also have created a baby registry for those who want to contribute toys and other items for the care team.
They even said a special thank you for the love that has been shown for the gorilla family since the baby’s birth on March 1.
