Arkansas State Police makes arrest in deadly March hit-and-run
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas State Police troopers made an arrest in connection with a deadly March hit-and-run in Pulaski County.
State troopers said 43-year-old Traci Caldwell was arrested Wednesday in connection with the crash that killed 32-year-old Joshua Meredith on March 31.
According to ASP officials, Meredith was hit near the intersection of Arch Street and Bailey Road in south Pulaski County. Authorities said he was found on the shoulder of the road with his personal items nearby.
Investigators said it was determined that Meredith had been hit by a vehicle that left the scene.
Caldwell is facing a charge of leaving the scene of an accident involving death. She is currently being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility without bond.
