Central Arkansas men’s golf team wins Atlantic Sun Championship

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Central Arkansas men’s golf team won the program’s first-ever Atlantic Sun Championship with a one-stroke win this week.

In the tournament’s finale, the Bears went hole for hole with Stetson before Noah Blaickner clinched the win on the 18th hole with a par to put them ahead with 35.91 points.

Stetson finished second with 34.99 points and Florida Gulf Coast finished third with 33.21 points.

The win gives the Bears their first conference championship in 53 years, last winning the AIC Championship in 1972.

Central Arkansas will now move on to the NCAA tournament where their regional will be determined on April 30. For more information, visit UCASports.com.
