Arkansas Storm Team Forecast: Evening Storms Possible in SW Arkansas

Thunderstorms are developing from Dallas into southern Oklahoma and will push into southwest Arkansas around 8–11 p.m., continuing into southern and southeastern Arkansas late tonight. Damaging winds and large hail are the main concerns, though storms should weaken after midnight.

A few storms may pop up early Sunday in northwest Arkansas and then pushing into northcentral Arkansas between 8-10 a.m. While gusty winds and hail remains possible, the tornado threat appears very low at this time.

A cold front moves through Monday, bringing more comfortable weather midweek.

We’re also watching Monday night into Tuesday for another round, mainly affecting eastern Arkansas, with central parts likely missing the worst of it. Stay tuned to the Arkansas Storm Team for more updates throughout the weekend.
