LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Little Rock School District said data from preliminary test results show students are mainly seeing gains in testing areas.
School district officials said students made gains or losses in each of the following tested content areas on the Arkansas Teaching, Learning & Assessment System in the graphic below:
The data is in comparison with the 2024 ATLAS Assessment. School officials said this year’s results mark three consecutive years of progress.
“These results are a testament to the hard work and resilience of our students and educators. Our district has made strategic investments in curriculum, professional development, and student support services, and it’s inspiring to see these efforts translate into tangible results,” Superintendent Dr. Jermall D. Wright said.
Officials noted that a record number of 399 English Language Learners scored proficient. Proficiency is the only basis schools and districts are evaluated, district officials said.
