Otter Creek church holds community event
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The weather cooperated for a community outreach event on Saturday morning at Otter Creek.
Otter Creek Community Church posted an event for families, offering free school supplies and clothes, along with health checks and complimentary food.
The pastor says planning is already underway for another big event later this year.
"Our next big giveaway is going to be Thanksgiving; we are going to bless the community with a big Thanksgiving basket, Thanksgiving meal,” Otter Creek Community Church pastor Marquis Cooper said. “That's what we do here, we want to be a blessing, that’s why our sign says together we nourish bodies and souls."
Otter Creek Community Church also has a food pantry.
