Pine Bluff police investigating after teen found dead Saturday
PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Pine Bluff police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was found dead Saturday evening.
Officers responded around 5:55 p.m. to a report of an unresponsive person in the 2500 block of South Maple Street, according to the Pine Bluff Police Department. They arrived to find a male lying in the grass across the street from the home.
Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher pronounced the boy dead at the scene.
The investigation is in its early stages, and limited details are available, police said. Detectives are actively working the case and following all leads.
