Date set for Sen. Gary Stubblefield to lie in state at Arkansas Capitol

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials announced that Arkansans will have the opportunity to pay their respects to the late Sen. Gary Stubblefield.
Secretary of State Cole Jester said Stubblefield will lie in state in the Capitol rotunda from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 11.
"My office is praying for the family of Senator Gary Stubblefield as they mourn his passing,” Jester said. “We’re thankful for his service to the state of Arkansas and ask for your prayers for his family.”
“We invite all Arkansans to come pay their respects to the man I was proud to know as a friend," Jester added.
