Review
Masters of the Universe delivers a high‑octane blend of fantasy spectacle and sci‑fi intrigue, anchored by Nicholas Galitzine’s charismatic turn as Prince Adam and Idris Elba’s commanding presence as Skeletor. Camila Mendes adds a sharp, modern edge to Teela, while Jared Leto’s enigmatic cameo injects unexpected menace. Visually, the film excels with expansive world‑building, vibrant set pieces, and kinetic action choreography that honors the franchise’s legacy while pushing it into contemporary territory. Though the narrative leans on familiar redemption beats, the emotional stakes feel earned, and the runtime allows for both character development and grand set‑piece battles. Fans of the original series will appreciate the respectful nods, and newcomers will find a compelling hero’s journey wrapped in glossy, block‑buster packaging.
