I-55 bridge closing for construction on I-55/Crump interchange

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) - The Tennessee Department of Transportation says the I-55 bridge will be closed this weekend so crews can continue construction on the I-55 and Crump interchange.
The bridge will close on Saturday, January 27 at 5 a.m. through Monday, January 29 at 6 a.m.
The construction activities include repair work on the bridge and removal of overhead sign structures.
The following roads will also be closed:
- I-55 southbound at Bridgeport Road in Arkansas
- I-55 northbound at South Parkway in Tennessee (traffic will be allowed to continue to the McLemore exit)
- I-55 southbound ramp
- Crump Boulevard westbound
