LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Discussions over a proposed education amendment and a review of the week’s national political headlines were the focus of the latest Capitol View.

Host Roby Brock spoke with Arkansas Public Policy Panel Executive Director Bill Kopsky and Arkansas Education Association President April Reisma about the Arkansas Educational Rights Amendment of 2024 and how it could change rules and funding for both public and private schools in the state.

Meet the Press host Kristen Welker then joined the show to discuss the week’s developments for President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump as they continue on their path for a rematch in November.

Brock also reviewed other political headlines from the week, including the House voting to ban TikTok, funding being approved for a foreign pilot training center in Fort Smith and Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders finishing up her overseas trade mission with stops in South Korea and Japan.
