William F. Laman library celebrates geeky culture with Laman Con 2024

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – From costumes to comic books and panel discussions, Laman Con 2024 had a lot to offer at the William F. Laman Library in North Little Rock.

Local vendors were also at Saturday’s family-friendly event where attendees got to share their creative interests with other creators and fans.

"We went to a renaissance festival, they were doing a demonstration, we picked up a card, and 14 years later I'm still doing it,” Sherman Moody from the Society for Creative Anachronism stated.

There were artist demonstrations, and participants got the opportunity to make personalized buttons, tote bags, and t-shirts.
