Arkansas signs sponsorship extension adding Tyson, Walmart logos to field at Reynolds Stadium
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (PIG TRAIL NATION) – Tyson and Walmart are two names synonymous with Arkansas, and now those Natural State megabrands will take the field along with the Razorbacks football team.
University of Arkansas officials announced Tuesday that the school, through its partner Learfield’s Razorback Sports Properties, extended and expanded the sponsorship deals with the Arkansas-based companies to feature logos of the two businesses on Frank Broyles Field at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Hogs fans will see the logos on the 25-yard lines, counterpointed by SEC logos, starting Saturday as Arkansas hosts the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
In addition to the logos going on to the field, Tyson and Walmart will also work with the athletic department and Learfield to connect with fans for new events & promotions, exclusive sponsorship activations and content collaboration with student-athletes, university officials said in the announcement.
Athletic director Hunter Yurachek expressed his gratitude to Walmart and Tyson Foods for their continued support of Razorbacks teams and the university.
“Their investment continues to be meaningful in the lives of our 465 Razorback student-athletes and our program,” Yuracheck said. “It is only fitting that when fans watch the Hogs play at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, they will be reminded of two Arkansas-born success stories that transformed our state and reshaped our world.”
