Little Rock police arrest man in connection with Colonel Glenn Road deadly shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock police have made an arrest in connection with a deadly May shooting on Colonel Glenn Road.

Officials with the Little Rock Police Department said 25-year-old Kevion Alexander was arrested Sunday for his involvement in a shooting that claimed the life of 32-year-old Akeem Broadway.

According to LRPD investigators, officers responded to a shooting call in the 6200 block of Colonel Glenn Road on May 21. After arriving on the scene, officers said Broadway was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

Broadway was taken to a local hospital where he later died from injuries sustained in the shooting.

Alexander is facing a capital murder charge in connection to the shooting. He is currently being held in the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility without bond.
