Police searching for missing 14-year-old girl from Maumelle

MAUMELLE, Ark. – Police are searching for a teenage girl who was reported missing from Maumelle on Wednesday.
Arkansas State Police said 14-year-old Jamia McKnight was last seen near Marseille Drive on Tuesday around 2 p.m.
Jamia is described as standing 5 feet, 5 inches and weighing 115 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Authorities said she was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, grey jacket, black Crocs and carrying a black backpack. Police noted she has possibly been seen with a young male.
Anyone with information on Jamia’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Maumelle Police Department at 501-851-1337.
