I-30 in Saline County requires overnight closure for construction
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Traffic on Interstate 30 in Saline County will be affected as crews work on improvements next week.
Officials with the Arkansas Department of Transportation said crews will be working to widen I-30 to six lanes. The construction will require an overnight closure of the I-30 east on-ramp at South Street from 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16 through 5 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17.
ARDOT crews will close the on-ramp for barrier wall work and paving operations.
Drivers may use alternate nearby roads to navigate around the closure. Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, barricades and signs.
ARDOT officials said that areas near the interstate may experience noise during the night.
The construction is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program. For more information, visit ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
