Pine Bluff Fire Department investigating deadly Saturday night blaze

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Pine Bluff Fire Department is investigating after a deadly early Saturday morning fire.
According to Pine Bluff fire officials, firefighters were called to a house fire at 3:17 a.m. in the 600 block of East 17th Street.
Officials said the home was found to be fully engulfed with heavy fire and smoke.
They said when fire crews searched the home, they were able to locate one person in the living room who had died from injuries sustained in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
