A pair of Little Rock music venues bringing legendary death metal bands to the capital city in 2025
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Recently a pair of music venues in the capital city announced shows featuring legendary death metal bands coming in 2025.
New York death metal stalwarts Suffocation will be coming to the Rev Room on June 25 and fellow death metal legends Cannibal Corpse will be playing at The Hall on Oct. 11.
Cannibal Corpse formed in 1988 and first gained mainstream notoriety after being featured in Jim Carrey’s 1994 film “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” and celebrates the 35th anniversary of its debut album in 2025.
The band has made two previous stops in the city, including their most recent at Juanita’s in 2012. Tickets for the show, which also features support from Municipal Waste and Fulci, are now on sale at LittleRockHall.com.
Suffocation, also formed in 1988, put out their debut album Effigy of the Forgotten in 1991 and are widely considered one of the godfathers of the death metal genre. The band was elected to the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame in 2012 for their contributions to the world of heavy metal throughout their illustrious career.
In addition to Suffocation, the Rev Room show will also feature support from Little Rock death metal act Severe Headwound, local crossover thrash supergroup Penalty and up-and-coming hardcore band Death Rattle. Tickets for the show are $28 in advance and are now on sale at RevRoom.com.
Other shows recently announced in Little Rock include Signs of the Swarm coming to Rev Room in October and Insane Clown Posse returning to The Hall on June 14.
